About Negative Split Productions

We make races run right.

A negative split means running the second half faster than the first. It takes discipline and smart pacing, and it is how we approach every event we touch.

How we work

Three things we do not compromise on

Not a values list. These are the three decisions that shape how every event we touch actually runs.

01

We answer fast, every time

Most replies go out within the hour, all of them the same day, race week included.

02

We do the hard part before race day

Every event gets a documented plan, a briefed crew, and equipment staged before we arrive. Things still change and we adapt, but your race is not where we figure things out.

03

We produce, so we understand

We run our own events every year. When your permit falls through or the weather turns, we have been on your side of it and can help come up with a plan.

How it started

From athlete to organizer

Negative Split Productions was formed in 2014, two months before Tony left an engineering job on the International Space Station program to produce races full time. Today we produce three events of our own and work more than 100 events a year in total.

Track record

Events and series we have created

Runs logistics, gear, and the crew schedule. If your event needs something on site, Ryan is the one who makes sure it is there.

Plus the crew

A pool of contractors who set your finish line up at 4am, run the chute, and load out after the last finisher. Early mornings, real work, and the reason race day looks easy.

Athlete First Fund

Cost should not keep anyone off the start line

A pay-it-forward donation at registration, plus entries we hold back, covers race fees for athletes who need help at our own events. One hundred percent of donations go to entries.
