My name is Tony Sapp and I am the co-founder and race director of the Houston Texans Kids Triathlon presented by Texas Children’s Hospital!

This will be our 7th year at Typhoon Texas and our first year with our new amazing partners, the Houston Texans and Texas Children’s Hospital. I am excited to welcome back our returning participants this year and to officially welcome our first timers.

The triathlon at Typhoon Texas was founded in 2016 with the mission of introducing multi-sport and triathlon to young athletes of all ages and skill levels in a fun and engaging environment. Over the previous 6 years, we have had over 6,500 triathletes cross the finish line.

Over the next few weeks leading up to the event, I will be sending out several emails. To ensure a great event for all, I encourage you to review this information with your parents and prepare for a fun and successful race.
