Work race day with us

Paid crew, hiring and training all year. You don't have to be fast or know anything about events, you just have to be up early.

Roles

Where you start, and where it goes

Most races are a six to eight hour day. Event staff is paid hourly and every other role is paid per event.

Nobody starts alone. Your first events are worked alongside a lead, and we train you on the systems as you go.

What the day actually looks like

What we ask

You show up on time, which on race day means early.
You can lift and carry gear for a few hours.
You are steady with participants who are tired or frustrated.
You have your own transportation to venues around Houston.
You are 18 or older.

What you get

Paid no later than the Monday after the event, every time.
You pick which events you take. No set schedule.
Training on timing systems, which is a real skill.
Crew gear, and a free entry to our races that is yours to use, hand to a friend, or auction for a cause.
A path up the ladder if you want it.

When something near you comes up we email the list, and you say yes or no. We add to the crew year round.

Most applications get a reply within 2 hours, always within 24.
